Apostilles & certified documents.

Opening an account in Panama? Registering a branch in Colombia? Foreign banks and governments need U.S. company documents certified — and often apostilled. We order, notarize, and route your documents so they're accepted the first time.

Certificate of status

Official proof from the Florida Department of State that your company is active.

Certified copies

State-certified copies of articles, amendments, and annual reports.

Notarization

In-office notarization of resolutions, powers of attorney, and incumbency certificates.

Florida apostille

Submitted to the Florida Department of State for countries in the Hague Apostille Convention.

Apostille or legalization?

If the destination country is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention — including most of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe — a Florida apostille is enough. Belize is also a member.

For non-member countries, documents need consular legalization instead, which can involve the U.S. Department of State and the destination country's consulate. We'll tell you which path applies before we start.

Typical apostille workflow
  1. 01Confirm destination country and document requirements
  2. 02Order certified documents or notarize originals
  3. 03Submit to the Florida Department of State
  4. 04Scan for your file and courier the originals to you

FAQ

How long does an apostille take?

Usually 5–10 business days including state processing, plus courier time. Expedited options depend on current state processing times.

Can you apostille documents from other states?

Apostilles must come from the state that issued the document. We can coordinate with the issuing state for out-of-state company documents.

Do you translate documents?

We work with certified translators for Spanish and Portuguese when the destination requires an official translation.
